“Maneuver” may sound like a strange word here, but you’ll need some serendipitous maneuvering to become a talk show host, news reporter, radio host, newspaper columnist, or other high-profile position.
If you pull it off, your publisher will love you and you’ll likely sell more books. (In fact, publishers are trending toward celebrity book deals—the visibility of celebrities typically creates a greater chance for success in today’s competitive marketplace.)
